On Tuesday we were given two assignment briefs, one for principles of architecture and other for architectural surveying. Our assignment states that we can choose two EU countries, the bridge we build will span the river which is the border. Assignment is pretty straight forward, we are required to design an appendix to the existing guard house, which can be used as an information centre as well as temporal document check point for the border crossing. The main material is glass, framed or flameless. The appendix can be located at any side of the house.
